By heading cell A1, Fixed Tax, you cannot enter the tax rate 7.5% in the same cell.

This will have to be entered in a cell of it's own in order to reference and calculate upon it.
SO, I would enter the rate, .075 in cell A2. You could format 7.5% if you like.

In Cell B2, under Unit Price, enter 25.00, and so on down the column for each Unit Price. Format 2 decimals.

In cell C2, under VAT, enter this formula.
    =$A$2*B2.
Copy and paste it down the column for each Unit Price. This will produce the amount of tax. Note the $ sign to denote absolute addressing. You may use £ in UK.

In cell D2, enter this formula.
    =B2+C2.
Copy and paste that down for each price.
Format 2 decimals. This produces the total.

When you enter the headers, Freeze the header row. Place the cursor in cell A2. Click on Window, Freeze

This procedure leaves Col A blank, with the exception of the header and the tax rate.
The tax rate in this case, could be placed in any cell in any row, as long as the formula for VAT, uses Absolute Addressing for the tax rate.

And I sat and watched as people could not get the Kindle by Christmas and the prices on Ebay went to double the retail price -and people paid those prices! I wonder how many regret that in the face of the current economic climate. Perhaps someone here can explain why those same people didn't just give a gift recipient the extra money and a coupon for the Kindle to be redeemed at normal retail price later? That way, the recipient would get the money, not someone selling it for double or triple the price on Ebay. It really did puzzle me, the economic logic of that. But emotions, wanting to make someone happy during the holidays and the willingness to pay far more than an item's retail price to get it for the holiday or birthday all factored into the decision to spend big bucks on Kindles when they ran out at Amazon.
